Elton’s Family Photo Censored In Arkansas Store

SIR ELTON JOHN’s touching home portrait on the cover of America’s Us Weekly magazine has been covered up with a “Family Shield” by one retailer in Arkansas in a command to “protect” shoppers.
The rocker and his life partner David Furnish showed off their newborn son Zachary on the cover of last week’s (begs17Jan11) Us Weekly – yet the happy snap has certified also frightful because homophobes in Mountain Home.
Local dweller Jennifer Huddleston came across the censored edition of the publishing in a Harps grocery store, and she was so startled to penetrate the magazine with a protective plastic safeguard, she snapped a photo and posted it on her Twitter.com blog.
The picture has sparked controversy across the blogosphere and prompted representatives from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation apt investigate.

Elton John once again held his glamorous White Tie and Tiara Ball. The event helps fund the Elton John AIDS Foundation. This event took place at John’s home in Old Windsor in the UK. Tons of celebs and royalty came out like Anne Hathaway and Elizabeth Hurley.

The auction alone raised £5 million in about 40 minutes, adding further to the £45 million pounds the balls have raised for the Elton John Aids Foundation since they were first staged in 1999. The overall total raised to date by the foundation itself, established by the singer in 1993, now stands at £156 million.

This year, not to be outdone by one of Sir John’s outfits, an Audi chrome finished V10 engined R8 Spyder was donated in effort to raise record bids for the foundation.
